VIBUG, the Visually Impaired and Blind User Group, is located in Massachusetts, and serves blind and visually impaired users of computers and other assistive technology. If you'd like to know more about us, you can download our flyer, which is available as a Microsoft Word document, or a braille formatted file. We encourage you to share this flyer with people you think would be interested in our assistive technology users group.

Members who cannot attend in-person are welcome to participate online. We are now using TeamTalk. For instructions, go to http://www.vibug.org and find the heading “On-Line Participation Available to VIBUG Members”.
Please note: There will be no VIBUG meeting in March, as many members will be attending the Bay State Council of the Blind spring convention the weekend of March 10.
Our focus this month will be audio recording programs and accessories, digital recorders, and why you should have one.
If you have a favorite digital recorder and are willing to briefly describe it and pass it around for people to examine, please bring it with you.
Frank Ventura will tell us about a Windows-based program called Virtual Recorder, I will discuss Studio Recorder from APH, and Tim Cumings will talk about GoldWave.
Not a member yet? It’s easy to join. Visit our website at http://www.vibug.org
Current Vibug members are welcome to attend VIBUG meetings online. VIBUG is using a free online program called teamtalk. If you would like to participate live in meetings online, you must download and install the teamtalk program. There are versions for mac and pc.
