VIBUG MEETING MINUTES

Date of Meeting: April 10, 2021

When: 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Where, Virtually

The meeting was called to order at 1:00 by President Frank Ventura. Following introductions, the following announcements were made.

Bob Resnick stated if you have not paid your dues, you can do so by going to vibug.org and using the PayPal button; you can pay either through PayPal or you can use any major credic card. If you have any difficulty, there is now a working link on the website, vibugtreasurer@outlook.com which you can use to contact him.

Jerry Berrier stated our membership is increasing; he also apologized for inadvertently removing some from the list, but said that those who had been removed and have paid their dues are now back on the support list.

Jeanette Kutash apologized for not having completed minutes, but stated that they would be out soon.

Frank stated that the officers had met; there will always be an on-line presence. MIT is not certain what the guidance regarding Covid will be like either from the state or from MIT. We are hoping to hold three in-person meetings, perhaps in November, February, and May, but this is all contingent on guidance from both MIT and the state. We will have more information hopefully at the end of the summer and will keep all updated.

Kelsey Nicolay demonstrated Icloud Keychain.

Steve Dresser demonstrated a player/recorder which he purchased from Guidelights and gadgets, the Evo E10.

Jerry Berrier showed us how to name header rows in excel so that you will hear the information to tell you what row and column you are in as you arrow through excel spreadsheets.

Following all demonstrations, the meeting was adjourned at 3:30 p.m.

Respectfully submitted, Jeanette Kutash, Vibug Clerk
