VIBUG MEETING MINUTES

Date of Meeting: June 12, 2021

Where, Virtually

When: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The meeting was called to order at 1:00 p.m. by President Frank Ventura. Following introductions, the following announcements were made.

Our treasury is in good health. If people wish to join, but have questions or cannot access the website easily, please contact Treasurer Bob Resnick and he can assist with paying dues. There is a Paypal button which you can use, if you have a Paypal account, but if you do not, you can pay by credit card.

Tim Cumings reported that all is well with the website and our technology and that the meetings have been working well on line.

Jerry Berrier reminded people that new members are always welcome. There are two lists, one for supporting members with questions and answers and discussions about technology products and issues, and the other which is an announce list only.

Frank announced if there was enough interest from VIBUG members we could have an impromptu virtual meeting in July or August. Also, prior to COVID to log into the meeting you could always use the app or call in, but you had to be a member. During COVID we opened up our meetings to include everyone. We officers have had a discussion about potentially going back to the old way of needing to be a member to get in to our meetings remotely. However, if anyone has feebback about this issue, we would appreciate hearing it, and we encourage it, as well. We are considering a plan that would allow us to have perhaps quarterly in person meetings.

Jeanette Kutash demonstrated the Freestyle Libre, talking about those features which were accessible, and those which posed challenges.

Tim Cumings introduced us to the Zoom Podtrack P4, an audio interface, mixer and recorder.<.p>

Following our presentations, the meeting was adjourned at 3:00 p.m.

Respectfully submitted, Jeanette Kutash, Vibug Clerk
